Piumino Orobico TECNO PIUMINI, a craftmade reality which keeps its good reputation!
TECNO PIUMINI is a brand of the Piumino Orobico firm which from 1987 is interested in sportswear made of pure goose feather. In the last years the firm has mainly focused on items for high altitude mountaineering. That's why the EXPEDITION 8000 and EXPEDITION 5000 lines have been introduced. They are suitable for the extreme mountaineering, up to 8,000 metres altitude, but also for expeditions less risky at lowest altitudes. Our items are conceived considering the mountaineer needs during expeditions. Clothes must be at the same time light and warm as well as close-fitting without hampering one's mouvements. The light weight is possible thanks to the use of the best goose feathers and the very light technical materials. These materials are at the same time very resistant and raincoat. Both lines, the EX 8000 and the EX 5000, offer a wide range of items and accessories: down suits, down jackets and dungarees, mittens, footwears and sleeping bags. All items are strictly padded with pure goose feather. As well as technical clothes we produce, from about 20 years, eiderdowns made of pure goose feather which are singularly handmade even with customised sizes. |
