How to keep you eiderdown in good conditions:

Keep the eiderdown close to your body using a duvet cover or a sheet avoiding to inset other blankets. 

Do not use duvet covers or blankets made of synthetic fabric. These avoid the proper transpiration of the eiderdown.

Sometimes shake the product in order to move and air the internal feathers.

At least once a week air the eiderdown to eliminate the absorbed dampness. Avoid the direct exposure to the sun, it could heat too much the feathers and break the branches of the flock.

At the end of the season check if the eiderdown is properly aired in order to eliminate the dampness. After that, put it back in its original cotton bag avoiding to use plastic bags or something similar which stops the proper transpiration of the feathers. It is suggested to not use chemicals inside its bag.

DO NOT USE CARPET SWEEPERS OR VACUUM PACKINGS

It is suggested to take the eiderdown to the dry cleaner’s (water-cleaning). Care about your eiderdown cleaning it every 2-3 years in order to reduce the excessive loss of the flock volume.
